Grace and peace from God our Father
Grace and peace from God our Father
and His Son Jesus Christ,
through whom salvation is ours.
Schools went back this week and we pray for
all those who are beginning another academic
year. We have a young man from KZN who has
been awarded a scholarship to Woodford in
Swaziland and starts Midweek. He is off on
Friday 16th to begin a wonderful journey of
schooling there. Let us pray for him and
we give thanks to God for the work of the
Nkosingo Resource Centre through which this
wonderful opportunity has been given him.
As an outreach and education programme of
All Souls we are in the process of setting up High
School Education Program using the computer
centre of the Nkosingo Resource Centre.
It will start with four children who will be mentored
and be able to continue their schooling despite
their life circumstances preventing them from
attending regular school. Again our partnership
with Nkosingo Resource Centre is yielding great
fruit and I am will be heading up this project and
providing mentorship to train volunteers as well.
Should anyone feel led to support this project
please contact me, as we will provide additional
information in due course.
We are looking for a new treasurer this year
and seek a person who is competent in financial
management to assist the wardens with this
important task. Should you feel led to
volunteer for this task please speak to Reverend
Isla, Nomfundo or Adrian Wilson. Our current
treasurer Kedi Sekhon can explain the role in
greater detail so please speak to him.
Sunday school will commence this morning at our
9am service and we thank the teachers for their
commitment. We are looking for teacher Aids
People to assist on Sunday mornings with
monitoring the children and helping the teacher.
We also need a Zulu speaking person just to tell
them the young ones need to express themselves
in their mother tongue.
Please contact the office should you be willing to
volunteer.
Be assured of my prayers for you all.
Peace and all good.
