Grace and peace.

They say a picture tells a thousand stories.Well such was my Rector's Desk last week.

Problem is that everyone had their own version of the story, and as to why it looked like that, and didn't take too kindly to the mess on my desk.

In AA Milnes classic, ''Winnie the Pooh" we find Piglet sweeping on a rather blustery day. He says" it's not the leaves that are leaving that is the problem, but the ones that keep coming!"Such was that week for me.

With the inbox now filed and prioritized, and the backlog now reordered, life is sane again.

September is the "Season of Creation" and all over the world Anglicans are applying their minds and their hands to creation care!

We remain committed to the Anglican Communion Forest- the program of planting trees wherever possible, and recently an opportunity arose to consider some more extensive use ofchurch land to plantfruit, medicinal and timber plantations. I pray that God will open the right doors to take that forward.

I do ask you to continue to pray for God's leading so that we can all be better "earth keepers."

Next month we will run a stewardship campaign. Teaching on using our gifts and providing some administrative input to facilitate the ministry next year. We will finalize our budget according to the ministry aims and objectives for next year.

We are lookingat creating a culture of volunteerism as part of our Discipleship program. And as we highlight each ministry area, I encourage you engage and discern God's calling on your life.

It is an exciting time for God's Church.

Cara will be on awell deservedbreak for the next two weeks. Please don't messageher on her private line. Going forward we would like to use the Office Phone only to message the staff.

As the days lengthen and warmth returns, I pray that we will awaken with the season and draw on the freshness of spring and God revival of the world around us. May blessings fall like showers of rain andwarmthgrow our hearts in love for God and one another.

Pray for each other, love each other, support one another in the pursuit of living the out the Gospel and serving the purposes of God's reign, through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with the Holy Spirit in the Holy Churchnow and forever. Amen.

Blessings,

Andrew
