Grace and Peace

Our hearts go out to the McDavid and McDonnell families on the death of Tish McDavidand Vaughn McDonnell.

Vaughn's funeral will be on Wednesday (1st) at 10h00 and Tish's memorial on the 4th at 11h00.

May they rest in peace and rise in glory and may our God comfort them and may you support them in prayer and action.

On Wednesday (1st ) I leave for my annual Franciscan (Third Order) Chapter. I ask for your prayers as I lead the meetings and as we as an order recommit to God's calling on our lives.

Anglicans Ablaze is happening soon, and I do encourage those of you who can, to try to attend. It is a worthwhile conference that will benefit both you as an individual and the Church.

On Wednesday I start my 4th year here at All Souls. I look forward to an exciting year ahead. We will kick off with Stewardship month in October and then on 2 November we will celebrate our Patronal Festival with a combined Parish Service at 08h00, followed by a Brunch.

In November we conclude the 2025 Liturgical year and enter ADVENT as we begin the new liturgical year. Next year will be a year of Discipleship as we look to build on our resources and develop the ministries of the Church.

With spring having arrived we are grateful for the rain and the new season ahead of us. Let us be diligent in prayer and service of God and neighbor.
