Grace and peace!

I write this on the eve of Synod. Full of anticipation for what this major event in our corporate lives holds. At this Synod we will bring about some procedural updates to our rules and debate some motions on specific ministries, but it is the Bishop's final 'Charge' where he will speak to the life of the Diocese and guide its future based on his experience as Diocesan Bishop, and his faith in our Lord, the head of the Church. I look forward to receiving this and sharing it with you. Please pray for us.

I am delighted with the work that our Parish council is doing, uphold them in your prayers. We have a lot going on and are investing in the future of our church. I am also grateful for those who have expressed interest in ministries.

We hope to make progress with your input and grow our ministry effectively.

Bishop's Farewell is a month away and we will need some additional funding to host the day and as stated we are collecting for a Farewell Gift. I encourage you to give to this worthy cause.

Lastly, for now, I need to make you aware that Lara has been offered a wonderful position at St John's DSG In Pietermaritzburg.

She will be heading up their Senior Remedial Department. It is a decision which I fully support. She will reside in Pietermaritzburg. I remain fully committed to All Soul's and my ministry among you, you just wont see as much of Lara in term time, but she remains an active member of the Parish.

Pray for us, and I assure you of my prayers.
