He is Risen! Hallelujah!

My prayer for you is that this Easter is proving to be a meaningful journey of faith for you.

It is not just a journey of Jesus to the cross, grave and resurrection, but it isthe constant interaction between God and humanity. A path of reality and the full experience of life in all its varied emotions, and responses. The road of the cross does not seek to escape life it seeks to offer its self fully to the process.

It is a call to humility and obedience and trust and surrender and processing doubts and fears and disappointments and even the disillusionment that comes from the human condition that causes wars and hardship and unnecessary suffering. As we face the current crisis that our world finds itself in, we are called to be those who will go the distance and seek to bring hope and reconciliation and peace.

Each time we gather we commemorate the "lasting ordinance of Passover " ( in the Communion) that has been transformed by Christ.

Moses told the people ( Exodus 12: 11) "This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the LORD's Passover."

This means "be ready for action, to move, to go where you are sent." So let us too be ready to be on the move, progressing with Jesus. May God bless you in all your adventures as a Christian.

After Easter I will be away for a while, but will be here for Sunday Services. We have Archdeaconry Council and Diocesan Council this month and so there is a lot to get through.

A big thanks to the staff for all the hard work that went into the Easter Program.

May the risen Christ bless you all abundantly.

Pray for me and I assure you of myprayersfor you.

Andrew.
